         Puppy kisses
        Warm and wet.
         Kitten sounds
         Softly purring.
            Running,
            Jumping,
         Hide and seek
      Through tenement
             Streets.
           Salty tears
     On reddened cheeks,
        A home no more
              Awaits.
            A heart of
            Questions.
               Why?
               Pain
           Slowly heals.
          Trust renewed.
         A heart restored,
          Now filled with
           Joy and song.
         Who could make
        This change from
            Pain to joy?
             Only One,
           Jesus came.
          He touched my
           Heart of pain
           And gave me
           Love instead!
 

Eternity!
Never-ending Spirit-filled.
Even after millions of years
Not a dent in the duration!
Pow!
And it starts
Now.
